Snacktime
Had a vegan chocolate chip cookie at lunch today
and it was delicious, you know? But I felt kind of guilty.
About all those vegans.
ok, a vegan is a vegetarian who eats plant products only, especially one who uses (~consumes) no products derived from animals, as fur or leather. if one differentiates, at least, between health-vegans and moral(+health)-vegans, for the latter, what about consumer goods? can a moral-vegan wear leather shoes and stand tall? drive a car with leather seats and walk the walk? purchase a 4-piece leather sectional for the den and disapprove knowingly?
cecil, i need to know!
"I'm not a vegetarian because I love animals. I'm a vegetarian because I hate plants."
---A. Whitney Brown
"Most vegetarians look so much like the food they eat that they can be classified as cannibals."
---Finley Peter Dunne
finley, i'm confused, but someone will understand. do cannibals look as healthy and vibrant like the morning sun?
