Three perspectives on my lost wallet

My four-year old daughter:
I thought it was under the couch and
I also tried to look for it everywhere, but
I was having so much fun that
I couldn't find it.

So it was very sad that you lost your wallet.

My wife:
Well, I was perplexed that we couldn't find the wallet anywhere in the house.
I was worried that you were so depressed about it.
I felt blue about having more paperwork. And then,
when Chris showed up with the wallet,
I was so happy, I gave him a hug.

Me:
I want to thank everyone.
This has been a wrenching experience.

And now, I'd like to take watch TV.
Catch the game.
Eat a big chocolate model of my brain.

What do you think?

This is very much like "Rashomon," only not.

absent is chris' explanation for having stolen said wallet. a few well-placed electric shocks will refresh his memory, and provide a light show for the kids after the wiggles performance.

also, what were your thoughts during this 'wrenching' experience? devoid of a documented identity, were you one with the universe?

---Anthony J. D'Angelo

anthony, you misread the NRA newsletter. btw, thank you congressional repubs for trying to expand DC gun-toting freedoms. just what we need. we haven't been the murder capital in years.

Hey listen, I live on the east coast, Notorious BIG,
so leave me out of it. I didn't see no wallet, or notice the expiration dates on your credit cards.
